Arion Lillard-Green, MHA, M.TS

Arion M. Lillard-Green, is a health services research PhD student in the Department of Health Administration and Policy at George Mason University (GMU), where she was honored as a Presidential Scholar. Over 17 years, Arion has supported aging adults and their families as a private caregiver and hospice Chaplain, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide compassionate end-of-life care in both urban and rural settings.

  • A storyteller and advocate for fair and even distribution of healthcare, Arion has shared her expertise with media outlets, promoting the importance of person-centered care at all stages of life. She actively contributes to Battelle’s Partnership for Quality Measurement and serves on AcademyHealth’s Long-Term Services and Supports Interest Group Advisory Committee.

    Arion holds a Master of Health Administration from GMU, a Master of Theological Studies from Christian Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University (Bloomington). Her unique blend of expertise fuels her passion for transforming public health communication and amplifying diverse voices through platforms like PUBHealthTV.
